Widespread interest in second SME trade fair
The second Viet Nam International Trade Fair of Co-operatives and Small-and Medium-Sized Enterprisesruns at the Ha Noi International Centre for Exhibition from December 2-7.
Organised by the Viet Nam Co-operative Alliance, the event will feature 500 stalls showcasing products from co-operatives and craft villages from 63 provinces and cities across the country, as well as from China, ASEAN and countries.
Items on show will include handicraft products, garments, consumer goods, industrial and electronic accessories, agricultural products and processed foodstuff, feed and veterinary medicine.
Deputy chairman of the Viet Nam Co-operative Alliance Nguyen Xuan Hien said the fair was aimed at creating a good opportunity for local and foreign co-operatives and trade villages to create new partnerships, seek new markets, promote trademarks and introduce products directly to customers.
The fair would also help to raise the position of the collective economy to be in line with the Government’s policy on improving agriculture, rural life and farmers’ welfare, he added.
The event will be held on the occasion of the fourth national representative congress of the Viet Nam Co-operative Alliance. It will celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of the establishment of Thang Long – Ha Noi.
