ABT: Explanation for the business fluctuation in quarter 2/2009

BenTre Aquaproduct Import and Export Joint Stock Company (ABT: AQUATEX BENTRE) has explained profit of quarter 2/2009 higher than quarter 1/2009 as follows:

1.Production of material basa fish provided by farming system increased 36.7% in quarter 2/2009 compared with quarter 1/2009 with expenses lower than outside. Beside, production of finished products increased 31.61% compared with quarter 1, so price in quarter 2 decreased and cost of goods decreased 3.93% in quarter 2 compared with quarter 1.

2.In quarter 2/2009, the company implemented more export contracts than quarter 1/2009 because products were provided for importers such as nations at EU, US at the peak consumption season (summer). Therefore, the export revenue increased 8.69% compared with quarter 1 (included export revenue of white clam increased 19.74%).
