Bach Tuyet Cotton (BBT) shares drop on trade suspension

Bach Tuyet Cotton Joint-Stock Co. lost ground on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange for the third straight day Thursday after news spread it would be suspended for not following information disclosure regulations.

Bach Tuyet, a manufacturer of medical cotton products, sanitary napkins and tampons, slid 3.5 percent to close at VND5,600. The State Securities Commission suspended trading of the Ho Chi Minh City-based company’s shares beginning August 3, according to a statement posted on the exchange’s website after the market closed on Wednesday.
