12.65 million tonnes of oil exploited in six months
In the past six months , the total output of exploited oil and gas (equivalent to oil) reached 12.65 million tonnes, up 17% compared to same period last year, announced the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam).
The figure equals to 102% of the six-month plan and meets 53% of the year’s plan. 8.18 million tonnes of crude oil and condensate were exported with a total value of US$3.5 billion.
The total turnover of the Petrovietnam in six months were VND 120.35 trillion, and Petrovietnam paid VND 42.88 trillion to the state budget (equal to 69% of the year’s plan). The exploration and exploitation activities should be stepped up in order to raise the oil reserves to 64 million tonnes and sign other new deals…
