World leading experts to deliver speech in Vietnam
Professor Tom Cannon, one of the world’s leading experts on development strategy, will visit Vietnam to make a presentation on sustainable economic development in the global crisis context at the Melia Hotel in Hanoi in July.
He will also work with Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City National University and a number of major players in Vietnam such as Tien Phong Bank, FPT and Deloitte Vietnam.
Prof. Tom Cannon will focus his presentations on measures to maintain sustainable economic development amid the global crisis, as well as the role of academics and experts in boosting national development process.
He will also provide intensive analysis on changes and trends in economic development in Vietnam and around the world as well as how to draw up a development strategy and strengthen international cooperation.
About 400 managers and scientists in Hanoi and 500 specialists in HCM City are expected to attend Prof. Tom Cannon’s presentations. This will provide them with a good chance to get a better understanding of the current global economic downturn and gain insight into mapping out a development strategy.
Tom Cannon is an internationally-renown professor from the Strategic Development Department of the University of Liverpool. He is chief executive officer (CEO) of the International Ideopolis Limited Company and a senior advisor to more than 30 major trans-national groups.
Prof. Tom Cannon is also an outstanding expert on issues related to economics, finance and sports.
