VNR: Explanation of adjustment in room for foreign investors

Basing on the document No 1027/TTLK on 18/6/2009 of the Vietnam Securities Depository, HASTC announce information about room of Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (VNR) for foreign investors as follows:

In registration with Vietnam Securities Depository, the company made mistake in the shareholder list, which turned Vietinbank Insurance Ltd company into VietinBank- Asia Insurance Company – foreign shareholder. The company sent a document to Vietnam Securities Depository to adjust the type of Vietinbank Insurance Ltd company to be domestic shareholder. Vietnam Securities Depository did adjustment on 18/6/2009. This adjustment will change the room of VNR for foreign investors as follows:

Shares which foreign investors hold at the end of 17/6/2009: 22,340,270 shares (33.24% of the total listed shares)

Shares which foreign investors hold on 18/6/2009: 21,860,070 shares (32.52% of the total listed shares); excluded trading data on 18/6/2009.
