Viglacera grants VND 2 billion to Dien Bien province

The Vietnam Glass and Ceramic for Construction Corporation (Viglacera ) pledged to grant VND 2 billion to the programme on rapid and sustainable poverty reduction in Dien Bien Dong district – one of the districts in difficulties in Dien Bien province.

The supported money is in the form of supplying building materials in 2009 to the poverty reduction programme in Dien Bien province.

The amount will contribute to helping poor households in East Dien Bien wipe out dilapidated thatched cottages. Besides, Viglacera is promoting co-operation with Dien Bien province to improve the human resource quality, produce building materials, increase the proportion of industry and create more jobs for people in the locality.
