Mercedes-Benz launches first multimedia kit
Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) is offering for the first time in the country its Universal Media Interface and Rear Seat Entertainment, which it says will create “multimedia cars”.
“You can listen to your own music, while your two children in the back can watch cartoon movies and play games,” said Udo Loersch, MBV general director.
“With a USB, iPod and AUX-IN connections, the UMI connector in the glove compartment is easy to access when you want to connect the data source of your choice.”
It is free and safe even while driving to stream music via the audio system, MP3 player or USB stick, iPhone, iPod, laptop, or CD walkman.
The RSE system includes two 7-inch, high-resolution LCD screens and a state-of-the-art DVD player at the centre.
