DPR: Explanation for business result in Q1/2009

Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Company (DPR) has explained business result in Q1/2009 as follows:

* Q4/2008: Output: 6,966.42 tons; average price: VND28,636,164/ton

* Q1/2009: Output: 4,548.55 tons; average price: VND22,908,248/ton

* Profit in Q1/2009 decreased VND23,874,108,456 (54,54%) in comparison with that in Q4/2008.

* Other profit in Q1/2009 increased VND10,599,214,032 due to income of liquidating rubber.

Due to the above reasons, profit after tax in Q1/2009 reduced VND13,274,894,032 (32.42%) in comparison with that in Q4/2008.
