RIC: Announcement of bonus issuance
HOSE announces the record date for the shareholder list of Royal International Corporation (RIC) as follows:
* Stock symbol: RIC
* Ex-right date: June 08, 2009
* Record date: June 10, 2009
* Purpose: Royal International Corporation will issue bonus shares to the existing shareholders.
* Issue volume: 5,143,811 shares, including:
+ Volume issued to the shareholders whose shares are being listed: 1,415,566 shares
+ Volume issued to the shareholders whose shares have not been listed: 3,728,245 shares
Exercise ratio: 10%/par value (At the record date, the one who owns 100 shares will receive 10 bonus shares. The bonus volume will be rounded down. The fraction parts (if any) will be paid in cash at VND10,000/share.)
For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A currently owns 1234 shares, the calculation as follows:
The number of shares distributed in theory: 1234/100 x 10 = 123.4 shares
The number of shares in practice: 123 shares
The number of shares converted to cash: 0.4 shares x 10,000vnd = 4,000vnd
* Trading date: Expected on August 17, 2009
* The right to receive bonus shares is not transferable.
* The bonus shares are transferable.
Place of payment:
- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
- Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: at Royal International Corporation (Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province)
Vietnam Securities Depository _ HCMC Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for RIC on June 09, 10 & 11, 2009.
