Vietnamese business forum in Europe to be held in Berlin

The 4th Vietnamese business forum in Europe is scheduled to take place on September 4-6 in Berlin, Germany.

The forum will focus on discussions of trade and investment promotion in Vietnam for the country’s businesses in Europe, creating conditions for businesses to learn about Vietnam’s regulations, business environment and policies as well as opportunities for exchanging experiences, according to the Vietnamese Business Association (VBA) in Germany.

The event is expected to draw 350 representatives, including domestic leaders involved in trade and investment promotion, the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany, Vietnamese Business Transactions in European countries, Vietnamese businesses operating in the European market, domestic banks and news agencies.

Established in 2001, the VBA has been very active in providing consultancy, protecting businesses’ interests, creating connections among export-import businesses and assisting them to develop partnerships.  

During this term, the VBA objectives include founding branches, coordinating with the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany to organise economic and cultural activities in 2010 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and organising a Vietnamese business forum in Europe in September.
