HCM City hosts industrial machinery expo

The 17th International Industrial Machinery Exhibition (ITME) will open in Ho Chi Minh City on May 12 and run until May 15, offering manufacturers and traders the opportunity to forge business relationships.

Around 200 companies from several countries and territories including mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Singapore and the UK will participate in the IIME 2009.

They will present new technologies and equipment in various fields such as plastics and rubber, printing and packaging. Highlights of the exhibition will include electrical and mechanical products for the railroad industry, air compressors, injection moulding equipment, weathering testers and ultrasonic metal welding.

The exhibition will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre on Nguyen Van Linh Parkway . The event is being organised by the VCCI International Fair and Exhibition Centre and Hong Kong ’s Top Repute, which specialises in organising fairs.
