Hand-over ceremony for first 5,000 cubic metres of kerosene

A ceremony was held on May 27 to hand over first 5,000 cubic metres of kerosene between the Dung Quat Oil Refinery and the PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil).

This is an important event to mark the first domestically refined products of the Dung Quat Oil Refinery to hit the market since its debut in February. It’s scheduled to pump out its first commercial petrol in early June.

The Dung Quat Oil Refinery now has over 900 engineers, technical engineers and 500 foreign experts running the factory, which is expected to meet one third of the consumption demand for oil and petrol in Vietnam.
