Waste treatment plant comes up in Long An industrial zone

Hoang Long Group broke ground Tuesday for a waste treatment plant in Long An Province’s Hoang Long Long Cang industrial zone.

The facility will consist of a treatment plant with a capacity of 700 cubic meters and a 1.7-kilometer pipeline linked to factories in the zone.

Scheduled to cost VND15 billion (US$83,000), the plant is to begin operations in September.

It is expected to meet national waste treatment standards.
