Bankers to talk shop in Hanoi
Risk management in the global economic contraction and IT investment for advanced banking services will dominate the tenth “Banking Vietnam Conference and Expo” in Hanoi from May 27-29.
More than 40 guest speakers will address the estimated 2,600 participants, well up on the 1,800-odd people who attended the ninth conference in Ho Chi Minh City last December.
The event is being organized by the central bank’s IT department and the International Data Group (IDG).
IDG says better risk management and greater transparency are vital to the health of Vietnam’s banking system.
