ACB to open new branches
The Asia Commercial Bank will open some 40 new branches and transaction offices by the end of the year, revealed the general director of ACB, Ly Xuan Hai, May 15.
This will raise the total number of the bank’s branches and transaction offices to 233 nationwide.
Hai said that the bank will recruit a further 600 new employees to fill the new vacancies.
The bank has recently reported assets of VND 131 trillion (US$7.4 billion), with private and business deposits making up VND101 trillion.
It is currently lending VND44 trillion, of which VND6 trillion are government subsidized loans.
Pre-tax profits for the first four months of the year were VND 665 billion ($37 million).
