Disbursement of the IRSP to May 14, 2009

According to the express reports of credit institutions, the disbursement amount of the interest rate support program of the whole banking industry by May 14, 2009 reached around VND 291,886.24 billion. The detailed figures are as follows:

1.Disbursement for short-term loans:

The disbursement amount of the interest rate support program by May 14, 2009 was VND 282,184.75 billion, increased by VND 10,241.5 billion as compared to that of May 7, 2009 (equivalent to 3.76%). Specifically, the group of state-owned commercial banks and the Central People’s Credit Fund have disbursed VND 203,865.29 billion, increased by VND 5,051.25 billion (equivalent to 2.54%), and the group of joint-stock commercial banks, the group of joint-venture banks, foreign banks branches and wholly-owned foreign banks, and the group of financial companies have allocated about VND 64,609.66 billion (an increase by VND 4,328.15 billion, equivalent to 7.17%), VND 12,606.79 billion (an increase by VND 767.03 billion, equivalent to 6.47%), and VND 1,103.02 billion (an increase of VND 95.07 billion, equivalent to 9.43%) for this program, respectively.

2. Disbursement for medium and long term loans

The disbursement amount of the interest rate support program reached VND 9,701.49 billion, increased by VND 4,971.57 as compared to that of May 7, 2009 (equivalent to 105.1%). Specifically, the group of state-owned commercial banks and the Central People’s Credit Fund have disbursed VND 8,432.66 billion, increased by VND 4,473.92 (equivalent to 113.01%) and the group of joint-stock commercial banks, the group of joint-venture banks, foreign banks branches and wholly-owned foreign banks, and the group of financial companies have allocated about VND 1,037.61 billion (an increase by VND 467.79 billion, equivalent to 82.15%), VND 166.77 billion (an increase by VND 31.53 billion, equivalent to 23.31%), and VND 64.45 billion (a decrease of VND 1.85 billion, equivalent to 2.79%) for this program, respectively.
