Footwear businesses to attend Chinese expo

The Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association will send its businesses to the international Footwear Expo 2009 in Guangzhou, China.

The three-day event, which starts on June 2, will be a good opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to access advanced technology and seek new trade partners, the association says.

Meanwhile, a fair showcasing equipment and materials used in the shoe and garment making industries will take place in the southern province of Binh Duong, starting on May 18, according to the Ho Chi Minh City Leather and Footwear Association. The four-day fair is expected to draw the participation of 100 firms.
