Vietnam’s 500 biggest businesses in 2008 announced
The list of the 500 biggest businesses in Vietnam, the VNR500, was announced at the forum ‘Big enterprises and economic prospects in 2009’ at the National Convention Centre on January 2.
The organising board delivered a membership certificate for the VNR500 club to each business. The forum gathered leading policymakers and economic experts in Vietnam.
During the forum, enterprises shared lessons learned and discussed new ideas for Vietnamese enterprises to develop in the domestic, foreign markets.
The event was co-organised by the VietNamNet newspaper and Vietnam Report Company and received much media sponsorship from VTV-Info TV, the US Institution of Innovation for Media (IIM), Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper and Vietnam Economic Times.
