HPG: Exceed plan of sales and profit 2008

Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company (Hoa Phat Group) has informed of business result 2008 as follows:

- Till end of November 2008, sales of the company was 7,771 billion dongs, profit after tax was 835 billion dongs (exceeding 2% of sales and 13% of profit after tax compared to plan of 2008). In comparison with the same period 2007, sales gained 55% and profit after tax reached 48%.

- Until now, many member companies of Hoa Phat Group has obtained profit plan of 2008. Especially, the company has reached plan of production volume and sales of steel for 2008.

- The projects of Hoa Phat Iron & Steel Complex and Hoa Phat Cement have been implemented and expected to produce products in Q3/2009.
