Hanoi upgrades power grids in mountainous areas
The capital city of Hanoi plans to invest more than 75 billion VND (4.5 million USD) in upgrading the electricity supply networks in 13 mountainous communes between now and 2012.
This investment was approved by the municipal People’s Council on December 11.
The city will also implement a World Bank-funded rural energy project with a total investment of 348 billion VND across 78 communes.
