International Electrical Technology & Equipment Exhibition opens
The Vietnam International Electrical Technology & Equipment Exhibition 2008 (Vietnam ETE 2008) opened at the Giang Vo Exhibition Centre this morning.
Hoang Thai an, Chairman of Vietnam Electrotechnical Industry Association (Velina) and Head of Organising Board of Vietnam ETE 2008 said that the exhibition covers on the area of 4,000 square metres with nearly 200 stalls showcasing the electrical technologies, the equipment and the products by hundreds of domestic and foreign enterprises including such big corporations as the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), the Vietnam Electrical Equipment Corporation, the Three Gorges Project Development Corporation (China) and CSTC, TSM - Tech Company Ltd (the Republic of Korea).
An international workshop on electrical equipment and technology was held today in the framework of the exhibition, with a participation of representatives of office managements, specialists, commercial representatives of all countries in Vietnam, project owners, groups, companies, international and domestic corporations.
Vietnam ETE 2008 is held by Velina and EVN, the C.I.S Advertisement and Exhibition Company in collaboration with the Power Enterprises Union (China), the International Trade Promotion Committee (China) and the Electrical Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (the Republic of Korea).
The exhibition is scheduled to close on December 13.
