Four trade fairs open in HCM City
Four exhibitions opened in HCM City on December 10, offering opportunities for producers and buyers to meet up and enter into partnerships.
The Vietnam Trade, Vinamac, Vinachem and Chinachem expos will feature more than 200 businesses from several countries and territories, including China, Laos, India, Hong Kong, Japan, the Republic of Korea and the US.
Displays include food and beverages, including from farming, forestry and aquaculture. Manufactured items are also showcased, such as garments, footwear, electronics and plastics. Stalls will also feature equipment and machinery for mining, construction and engineering, as well as that used in food wood and rubber processing and the manufacture of fertilizers, pesticides, oetro chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
Nguyen Van Ngan, general director of the expos, said there would be a seminar on Vietnam’s trade and industrial policies on the opening day and another on its agro-chemical market on December 11.
Ngan said free fact-finding tours would also be organised for interested businesses.
The expos will run through December 14 at the HCM City International Exhibition and Convention Center on Hoang Van Thu Street.
