SBT: Explanation for business result in Q3/2008

Sucrerie de Bourbon Tay Ninh has given explanation to the business result in Q3/2008 as follows:

Net sales and services reached VND 98.44 billion, decreasing 32.85% compared to that Q2/2008.

Reasons: Due to difficult situation of the current economy, tight credit policy, a shortage of capital, some food processing and confectionery business have reduced their production. Inflation became quite high in Q3, leading to a decrease its demand quantity. Hence, profit after tax came to VND27.69 billion, decreasing 27.94% compared to that Q2/2008 and accumulated profit reached only VND115.87 billion in the first nine months of this year.
