HSI: Business result in Q3/08

General Materials Biochemistry Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (MF JSC) has explained business result in Q3/08 as follows:

* Profit after tax Q2/08: VND9,469,556,023

* Profit after tax Q3/08: VND3,835,638,458

Profit after tax in Q3/08 decreased 59% compared to that in Q2/08:

* Q3/08 was the end period of harvest.

* Bank interest rapidly increased thus firms restricted to sell products under deffer payment.

* Price of materials was unstable so agents reduced to buy goods for inventory.
