Vietnam-Russia bank opens third branch

The Vietnam-Russia Joint Venture Bank (VRB) officially opened its third Vietnam branch in the central city of Da Nang on Oct. 15.

After nearly two years of operation, the VRB has acquired a total asset value of 4.5 trillion VND and mobilised total capital of over 3 trillion VND.

The VRB raised its charter capital to 1 trillion VND in the second quarter of this year as planned and is committed to increasing it to 200 million USD (more than 3.19 trillion VND) by 2010.
