Bank wins golden cup of best retailer
An Binh Bank (ABBank) was Monday awarded the Golden Cup of Best Retailer by the Vietnam Retailer Association and the National Committee for International Economic Cooperation.
ABBank has charter capital of VND2.7 trillion (US$163 million) and a national network spanning more than 20 cities and provinces.
Last month, the bank received central bank approval to sell a further 5 percent stake to Malaysia’s largest lender, Maybank, bringing the foreign bank’s ownership to 15 percent or VND1.58 trillion ($96.7 million).
