Fishery project licensed in Bac Lieu

Bac Lieu Province has licensed the biggest foreign-invested project in the Mekong Delta province’s fisheries sector, the provincial Department of Planning and Investment said Tuesday.

Nigico Aquaculture Co., a Japanese-invested company, will spend US$5 million developing the project on an area of more than 270 hectares in Hoa Binh District’s Vinh Thinh Commune, department director Le Thanh Dung said.

The project will specialize in aquaculture, seafood processing and aquaculture feed production.
