Danish businesses interested in Vietnamese market

A delegation of 20 Danish enterprises operating in the fields of construction materials, printing and packaging will visit Vietnam from October 6-11 to seek business opportunities.

According to the Danish Embassy in Hanoi , the delegation will attend a seminar on energy-saving and environmentally-friendly building materials, printing and packaging scheduled to take place in Hanoi on October 6.

The Danish businesses will also meet with some 200 Vietnamese partners in Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City and several localities to seek opportunities to set up joint ventures.

Any commitment reached to JV establishment will receive a maximum aid of 1 million USD from the Business-to-Business (B2B) Programme for implementation, the embassy said.

Established in 1997 by the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) , the B2B programme aims to improve Vietnamese enterprises’ competitiveness, thus strengthening the country’s economic growth and poverty reduction.
