AIG Vietnam remains subsidiary of US-based AIG

American International Group (AIG) Vietnam – AIG Life on Oct. 4 said AIG Life is still a subsidiary of US-based AIG despite changes in strategies.

The wholly foreign own AIG Life Vietnam has 400 employees and over 9,000 agents nationwide, serving almost 300,000 customers.

On Oct. 3, the US-based AIG announced its strategy that will retain its dominating stakes in AIG/AIG Life companies while seeking strategic shareholders for minority stocks.
