Entrepreneurs to join Vietnam Week in Japan

A delegation of entrepreneurs will visit Japan from September 15-21 to participate in “Vietnam Week 2008” to mark the 35th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

The business people will attend Vietnam-Japan economic forums and seminars in Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo, co-organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO).

They will also visit the Toyota factory, the Toyota Industry and Technology Museum and a number of successful Japanese companies.

Vietnam will send a 200-strong delegation to join the programme, while 12 Japanese art troupes and 200-300 local businesses plan to take part in activities during the week.

A photo exhibition on Vietnamese land and people, a Vietnam-Japan gala night, and a Vietnamese festival will be the highlights of Vietnam Week 2008.
