Devising measures to promote sustainable development

Many countries in the world have highly praised Vietnam’s developments in recent years, said representatives from the Standard & Poors Company at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung in Hanoi on September 22.

They added that Standard & Poors wants to gain a better understanding of Vietnam’s economic development policies in recent times, especially when the world, including Vietnam, is facing a hard time.

Mr Hung said that the Government’s measures to control the soaring inflation have achieved initial results. Vietnam will continue to strengthen its social security and poverty reduction policies, restructure State-owned businesses and create good conditions for both domestic and foreign businesses to operate, Deputy PM affirmed.
