Taiwanese group builds hi-tech plant in southern province
The TECO group of Taiwan began building a US$50-million hi-tech plant in My Phuoc 3 industrial park in the southern province of Binh Duong on July 19.
The 50-ha plant, TECO Vietnam Technology Co. Ltd, will produce electrical and electronic products for exports.
TECO President Huang Mao Xiong said the group is committed to a long-term business in Vietnam.
Established in 1956, TECO involves industrial and household electricity, electronics, information data, construction and financial investment. It has partners in the US, Japan, Sweden, and Germany.
