Tea sector targets 1 billion USD in turnover by 2020

The tea sector is striving to fulfill the target of 1 billion USD in turnover by 2020, said Chairman of the Viet Nam Tea Association Nguyen Kim Phong.

He added that Vietnam is ranking fifth among top tea producers and exporters in the world.

Apart from the domestic market, Vietnam ’s tea products sold in 110 countries and territories with the “CheViet” brand name being registered and protected in 73 international markets.
