Song Thu Company wins 15mln EUR ship building contract

The Song Thu Company under the Ministry of Defence on July 7 started building a fast crew supplier 5009 (FCS2009) for the Damen Shipyard Group of the Netherlands.

This is the first vessel among a series of FCS5009 that the company will build for Damen under a 15 million EUR contract.

FCS5009 ship, designed by Damen, is 50.30m long, 9.20m wide and 4.20m high. It will have a steel hull and large deck and is capable of accommodating 80 people.
