Jetstar launches Extra Leg Room services

Australian budget carrier Jetstar on July 17 launched a new Extra Leg Room service for passengers of cheap flights JetSaver Light and JetSaver.

From today, holders of JetSaver Light and JetSaver tickets are able to purchase additional room to stretch their legs, paying an additional 60 USD for one-way tickets from Vietnam to Australia .

Jetstar Commercial General Director Bruce Buchanan said passengers now have more opportunities to chose the options that best suit them and he believed the new service would become popular.

Since early 2008, Jetstar has become successful with the lowest-fared JetSaver Light category for those passengers with just hand luggage.

So far, around 20 percent of its passengers choose this service.
