Agriculture Minister promises to help fishermen
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat said localities should hasten to advance money to fishermen to help give them peace of mind for production.
Cao Duc Phat was attending an on-line seminar held by the ministry on July 8 to discuss how to assist fishermen and solutions to further develop shrimp breeding.
Phat asked localities to quickly implement measures to help fishermen overcome difficulties. He also agreed that localities should allow farmers to raise white-legged prawn, which have better quality and output than tom su (common tiger prawn).
