Viet Nam’s bourses suffer slight losses
Both Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi bourses reported slight decreases by the end of October 5 trading session.
The VN-Index at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) dropped by 6.13 points to close at 1,081.83 points.
Today’s trading volume fell with 14.6 million shares, worth 1,506 billion VND, changing hands.
By the close of trade in Ha Noi, the HaSTC-Index slid 3.14 points to finish at 344.73 points. The market saw drops in both trading value and volume with more than 5.1 million shares worth 607.9 billion VND being traded on the day.
Also today, the Au Viet and the Phu Gia Securities Joint Stock Company became the 57 th and 58 th member of the HoSE.
The two companies specialize in providing securities depository, brokerage and investment and financial consultation services.
The Au Lac Securities Joint Stock Company has a charter capital of 43 billion VND while the Phu Gia Securities Joint Stock Company plans to raise its charter capital from 43 billion VND to 500 billion VND by the end of the year.
