- 10 September 1982: Salvage Associated Enterprise under Ministry of Transport was established under the Decision No.156/HDBT issued by the Prime Minister;

- 23 March 2006: Ministry of Transport issued the Decision No.721/QD-BGTVT on renaming Salvage Associated Enterprise as Viet Nam Salvage Company under Vietnam Maritime Administration;

- 25 June 2010: Ministry of Transport issued the Decision No.1771/QD-BGTVT on transforming Viet Nam Salvage Company into Viet Nam Salvage One-member Limited Company owned by Ministry of Transport;

- 24 November 2011: Became a member of Southern Maritime Safety Corporation under the Decision No.2399/QD-BGTVT issued by the Ministry of Transport;

- 14 November 2014: Ministry of Transport issued the Decision No.4330/QD-BGTVT on the plan of equitizing and transforming Viet Nam Salvage One-member Limited Company under Southern Maritime Safety Corporation into a joint stock company;

- 29 December 2014: Initial Pulic Offering (IPO) was launched at Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) with average winning bid of VND10,739 per share;

- 06 March 2015: Put into operation under the model of a joint stock company with a charter capital of VND83.1 billion under the business registration certificate No.0300430099 issued by Ho Chi Minh Department of Planning and Investment;

- 28 June 2016: Became a public company;

- 20 October 2017: Traded on UPCOM market;
