- 13 January 2003: Me Lin Steel Limited Company was established with an initial charter capital of VND10 billion under the business registration certificate No.1902000310 issued for the first time by Vinh Phuc Department of Planning and Investment;
- March 2003: Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee approved steel shearing plant construction project and leased 30,000m2 at the land lot 29A of Quang Minh Industrial Park;
- August 2003: Construction of the steel shearing plant was commenced;
- August 2004: The plant came into operation with the first order of 1,000 tons of steel from Zamil Steel Viet Nam;
- September 2003: Charter capital was raised up to VND15 billion;
- February 2005: Hot-rolled sheared steel coil batch was exported to Myanmar;
- March 2005: Honda certified that Melin steel is the steel sheet provider of Honda Vietnam's part manufacturers network;
- 02 October 2015: Transformed into Melin Steel Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of VND120 billion under the business registration certificate No.2500222727 issued by Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee;
- 14 November 2016: Charter capital was raised up to VND150 billion;
- 12 June 2017: Became a public company under the document No.3879/UBCK-GSDC issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam;
- 16 August 2017: Listed on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX);
- 27 September 2017: Traded on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX);
