SSB: Record date for stock dividend payment & share issuance On June 16, 2023, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange issued an Announcement No.1067/TB-SGDHCM about the record date of Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank as follows:
- Ex-right date: June 23, 2023
- Record date: June 26, 2023
- Reason & Purpose:
- To pay stock dividend payment for 2022;
- To issue shares for capital increase from the owner’s equity.
- Content:
- a. To pay stock dividend payment for 2022:
- Expected issue volume: 295,200,000 shares
- Exercise ratio: 100:14.4684 (Those who own 100 shares will receive 14.4684 new shares.)
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down to units, the fractional shares (if any) will be distributed to the Trade Union of Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
- For example: at the record date, shareholder A owns 1,000 shares. With 100:14.4684 performing ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 1,000 *14.4684/100 = 144.6840 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A will receive 144 new shares.
- Place of implementation:
+ For deposited securities: Shareholder will implement procedures to receive dividend at the securities company where shareholders opened securities depository account.
+ For undeposited securities: Shareholder will receive dividend at SSB’s head office on working days. Please present shareholder’s identity card/citizen identity card and Share ownership certificate when receiving dividend at the Head office.
- b. To issue shares for capital increase from the owner’s equity:
- Expected issue volume: 118,201,732 shares
- Exercise ratio: 100:5.7933 (Those who own 100 shares will receive 5.7933 new shares.)
- Plan to deal with fractional shares: The distributed shares will be rounded down to units, the fractional shares (if any) will be distributed to the Trade Union of Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
- For example: at the record date, shareholder A owns 1,000 shares. With 100:5.7933 performing ratio, the shareholder A will receive: 1,000 *5.7933/100 = 57.9330 shares. According to rounding policy, the shareholder A will receive 57 new shares.
