Maintaining the current petrol prices

To stabilize the petrol prices, after agreement with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, MoF issued Notice No.327/QLG-BTC dated 28/11/2011 on petrol prices management. Accordingly, MoF requested the petrol businesses to follow the instructions below:

- Firstly, maintain the current petrol prices diesel oil, kerosene oil, and mazut oil.

- Secondly, BOG Fund could be used to balance the differences between the basic and the selling prices as below:

+ diesel oil: 1.000 VND/ litre

+ kerosene oil: 900 VND/litre

+ fuel oil: 950 VND/litre

- Thirdly, for gasoline, the amount contributed to BOG Fund per litre increased 250 VND (from 300 to 550 VND/litre); that amount for diesel oil, kerosene oil, and fuel oil was 300 VND/litre.

The Notice was effective from 12AM, 28/11/2011.
