Vietnam November coffee exports forecast at 50,000 tons

Vietnam, the world’s biggest producer of robusta coffee, may export 50,000 metric tons this month, according to figures released today by the General Statistics Office in Hanoi, 27.5 percent less than in the same period last year.

The nation exported 32,000 tons in October, 6.7 percent higher than a previous assessment of 30,000 tons, revised figures from the Statistics Office show. Exports in the first eleven months of the year were estimated at 1.08 million tons, up 2.4 percent from a year earlier.

Vietnam exported 69,000 tons in November last year according to preliminary GSO data.
