Vietnam posts a trade deficit of $700 million for November
Vietnam’s trade deficit narrowed to $700 million in November from a revised $750 million last month, according to preliminary figures released by the General Statistics Office in Hanoi Thursday.
For the 11 months through November, the deficit was $8.9 billion.
Exports rose to $8.6 billion in November from $8.39 billion in October. For the 11 months through November, they climbed 34.7 percent to $87.16 billion.
Imports advanced to $9.3 billion in November from a revised $9.14 billion in October. For the 11 months through November, they jumped 26.4 percent to $96.07 billion.
