Vietnam’s plastic exports decline
Vietnam’s plastic exports in first 7 months gained US$455 million, down US$40 million compared to a year earlier as the prices of plastic materials dropped by US$400 per tonne, according to the Vietnam Plastics Association.
Some Vietnamese businesses saw an increase of 20-30 percent in the number of plastic orders from European, Middle East and African markets.
In the meantime, plastic orders from Japan decreased by 40-50 percent.
