350 businesses respond to “Promotion” Month

As many as 350 businesses involved in tourism and hotel services, traders and food suppliers have registered to take part in a “Promotion” Month from September 1-30, a three-fold increase from last year’s figure.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City’s Department for Industry and Trade, nearly 1,500 retail outlets will be able to provide promotion services such as buying discount products, offering gifts and allowing customers to try different products. The initial cost of the promotion is estimated at VND123 billion.

As of August 31, around 20,000 shopping handbooks will be available at all trade centres and supermarkets in HCM City to provide information for people to both local consumers and tourists.
