City hotel exports moon cakes to US, Europe

The Dong Khanh hotel under the Saigontourist Holding Company (Saigontourist) has planned to sell about 60 tonnes of moon cakes of various types this autumn, an increase of 10 percent from last year.

About 10 percent of these cakes will be exported to the US and some European countries.

This year, the hotel based in HCM City has focused on nutritious cakes which have less sweet and fat and more natural ingredients.

The marketing director of the hotel, Tran Bao Loc, said the company gives top priority to food safety and hygiene during its production process.
