Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone master plan approved

The prime minister has just approved the master plan of the Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone by 2025 in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue.

Accordingly, Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone, covering 27,108 hectares, will be built into a port urban centre and a key maritime transport centre, supplying deep seaport services and regulating transports of cargo in the central key economic region.

Attention will be paid to building the inland way, railway and seaway systems for the zone. Chan May Port will be built into a general port: a container entrepot, a port for tourism and cargo transport.
