- 20 November 1970: The construction of "Tan Tien Do Thanh abattoir" was commenced.;
- 18 May 1974: The factory was founded specialising in cattle slaughtering;
- After 1975: The factory was renamed Foodstuff I company, mostly functions in supplying to the armed forces and the workers with subsidized quantity;
- 1980: The company took part in frozen pork export market to Soviet Union and Estern Europe;
- 16 November 1989: Renamed as VISSAN Company;
- 1995: Became the member unit of Saigon Trading Group - Co., ltd;
- 21 September 2006: Transformed in to VISSAN Limited Company;
- 07 March 2016: Went IPO at Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) at an average winning bid of VND 80,053 per share;
- 01 July 2016: Transformed into VISSAN Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of VND809.143.000.000;
- 21 October 2016: Traded on the UPCOM market;
