- 1975: The Company, formerly known as Vietnam Southern Foreign Trade Transportation Company, was established;
- 1976: The Company was renamed as Ho Chi Minh Foreign Trade Transportation Company under Vietnam Foreign Trade Transportation Corporation;
- 1995: Separation of Ho Chi Minh City Foreign Trade Logistics Company into an independent state-owned enterprise;
- 2010: Converted to a joint-stock model with the name Vietnam International Freight Forwarders Company (VINATRANS) with the chartered capital of VND 255 billion;
- 2014: The Company's shares started to be traded on UPCOM.
